How to watch in the United States
The official US Open television schedule lists ESPN for quarterfinal coverage, with ESPN Deportes offering Spanish-language windows and the ESPN App carrying all-court access. Availability can depend on a viewer's television or streaming package.
Outside the United States, rights differ by country. The safest method is to check the broadcaster list on the tournament website or a local rights holder rather than relying on an unlicensed stream.
How the quarterfinal draw works
Eight players remain in each singles draw. A quarterfinal is still a direct knockout match: the winner advances and the loser leaves the singles tournament. Women's matches are best of three sets; men's matches are best of five.
If a deciding set reaches 6-6, the US Open uses a 10-point tiebreak, won by the first player to reach at least 10 with a two-point advantage.
Why Championship Week feels different
The schedule becomes more concentrated, most singles matches move to Arthur Ashe Stadium, and recovery time becomes a visible part of the contest. A player surviving a long night quarterfinal may have less time to recover before a semifinal than an opponent who won quickly in the afternoon.
