Who we are

What we collect

Information you give us. If you send us a message through the contact page, we receive your name, your email address and the content of your message. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server log data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and the time of the visit. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

Analytics. We may use analytics software to understand which articles are read and how people find them. This tells us about traffic patterns, not about you individually.

How long we keep information

Messages sent through the contact page are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. Server logs are retained for a limited period by our hosting provider for security and diagnostic purposes.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except where necessary to operate the site (for example, our hosting provider) or where required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@matchupworld.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights — such as the EU or UK under GDPR — those rights apply and we will honour them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
