The 2026 Rocket League World Championship will run from September 15 to September 20 in Fort Worth, Texas, bringing 20 three-player teams to Dickies Arena for a share of a $1.2 million prize pool. Separate 1v1 and 2v2 championship events are also included during the six-day programme.
The opening play-in and group stages will be streamed online before fans enter the arena for the final three days. Championship Sunday will also be shown live at 50 AMC cinemas across the United States, the first Rocket League world final to receive that theatre treatment.

The official broadcast begins at 10:30 a.m. Central Daylight Time on September 15. The alternate stream starts at 11 a.m. From September 16 onward, the listed daily main broadcast time is 11 a.m. CDT.
The first three competition days use two simultaneous streams because multiple series must be completed during the play-in and group phases. From September 18, the main playoff action is consolidated for the arena audience.
Qualified teams by region
Europe has six qualified teams: Team Vitality, Karmine Corp, Gentle Mates, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Manchester City and Mate y Tapa.
North America sends Spacestation Gaming, Shopify Rebellion, Virtus.pro, NRG and FUT Esports. South America is represented by Made In Brazil, FURIA and Bigodes.
The Middle East and North Africa lineup consists of Twisted Minds, Team Falcons and R8 Esports. Wildcard represents Oceania, TSM represents Asia-Pacific and Five Fears represents Sub-Saharan Africa.
The regional distribution makes the tournament genuinely global, while Europe's six places reflect the strength and depth of its RLCS results during the season.
1v1 and 2v2 players
The world championship is no longer limited to the traditional three-player team format. Four duos have qualified for the 2v2 competition: Rw9 and Kiileerz; Zen and Atow; Reveal and zach; and yANXNZ and swiftt.
The 1v1 field includes Nwpo, Nass, Diaz and Kv1. Semifinals take place during the group-stage days, with the 1v1 final scheduled for Friday and the 2v2 final for Saturday.
These formats test different skills. In 3v3, rotation, boost management and coordinated pressure decide many series. A 1v1 match exposes every challenge and defensive decision, while 2v2 creates more open space but still rewards coordinated passing and recovery.
How to watch RLCS Worlds online
Official English-language coverage will be available on Rocket League's Twitch, YouTube and TikTok channels. During September 15–17, viewers should check whether a match is assigned to Stream 1 or Stream 2.
Alternative-language broadcasts are planned in French, Spanish for Spain, Spanish for Latin America, Portuguese, German and Swedish. The organisers have listed community channels for each language, making the tournament easier to follow outside English-speaking markets.
Because schedules can move when earlier series run long, viewers should use the official RLCS bracket and live channels on match day rather than relying only on a static start-time graphic.
Arena and AMC theatre viewing
Fans can attend Dickies Arena on September 18, 19 and 20. Doors open at 10 a.m. CDT on all three days. Merchandise booths and scheduled player or creator signings will operate around the matches.
For Championship Sunday, 50 AMC locations will show the broadcast. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. CDT and the pre-show begins at 11 a.m. Purchases include a commemorative ticket containing a code for the in-game drops normally earned through Twitch viewing, according to the organisers.
Several US universities will also host official student watch parties, including Syracuse University, the University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M and multiple North Carolina campuses.

Karmine Corp arrive with momentum after winning the Paris Major in front of a home crowd. Team Vitality and Team Falcons remain major international threats, while established North American organisations such as NRG and Spacestation Gaming will try to turn regional support into a deep run.
Manchester City's presence is also notable because it connects a globally recognised football brand with elite Rocket League competition. Representation from APAC and Sub-Saharan Africa gives those developing regions a chance to measure progress against the established European and North American fields.
Short series can make the play-in volatile. A team that starts slowly may have little time to recover, while strong kickoff preparation and adaptation between games can produce an upset.
