Pooja Meri Jaan is now streaming on ZEE5, bringing Mrunal Thakur and Huma Qureshi together in a Hindi crime drama about obsession, consent and conflicting versions of the truth. The film premiered directly on the platform on October 2, 2026.
The story begins when Pooja rejects a man's advances and the situation escalates into harassment. Lawyer Sana becomes involved as the case develops, forcing the characters—and the viewer—to examine how power, perception and social judgment shape the account of what happened.

What is Pooja Meri Jaan about?
Mrunal Thakur plays Pooja, whose decision to reject a friend becomes the starting point for an increasingly threatening situation. The film follows what happens when unwanted attention is treated as entitlement rather than accepted as a clear boundary.
Huma Qureshi plays Sana, the lawyer drawn into the case. Her role gives the film a second perspective: the story is not simply about identifying a pursuer, but about testing evidence, credibility and the assumptions other people make about the victim.
This guide avoids the later reveals. The campaign presents the film as a drama built around multiple perspectives, so explaining the final answer would remove a major part of the intended viewing experience.
Who is in the cast?
Mrunal Thakur and Huma Qureshi lead the film. Vikram Singh Chauhan and Vijay Raaz appear in important supporting roles, expanding the personal conflict into a wider investigation and courtroom context.
Thakur's role depends on showing both Pooja's fear and her effort to keep control of her own story. Qureshi's Sana has a different responsibility: she must separate what can be established from what people assume. Their scenes form the film's central dramatic relationship.

Where and how to watch
Pooja Meri Jaan is available on ZEE5 in supported regions. A subscription may be required, and the exact audio, subtitle and download options can vary by country and plan. The platform page is the reliable place to check availability rather than an unofficial upload.
The film joined a crowded October streaming week. MatchUpWorld's latest OTT release guide covers other titles arriving across Netflix, Prime Video, ZEE5 and JioHotstar.
Is it suitable for family viewing?
The themes involve stalking, harassment and legal conflict. Viewers planning a family watch should check the platform's current age rating and content labels before starting. The film is better approached as a serious crime drama than a light romantic title.
Anyone sensitive to stories about coercive behaviour may prefer to read the content description first. The spoiler-free premise reveals the subject without disclosing the resolution.
Why the film is attracting searches
The two lead actors bring different audience groups, while the direct-to-streaming release makes the film immediately accessible. The subject is also designed to create discussion: viewers may disagree about characters' choices even when they agree that consent must be respected.
The long gap between production and release has also generated curiosity. The useful question now is no longer when it will arrive—it is already streaming—but whether its treatment of obsession and accountability works as a complete drama.
For viewers deciding whether to start it, the strongest search terms can be misleading: this is not simply a romance built around its title. Its central conflict is about boundaries, fear and the consequences of refusing to accept rejection. Going in with that expectation gives a clearer picture of the film's intended tone without revealing the ending.
It is therefore best viewed as a serious, performance-led streaming drama.
