Is the NEET PG 2026 answer key out?
No official 2026 answer-key link was visible on the NBEMS notice board at the publication time stated above. This status can change, so candidates should check the official site directly rather than depend on an old screenshot or search snippet.
NBEMS is expected to issue a formal notice explaining what will be displayed, when the login window will open and whether candidates can raise a challenge. Until that notice appears, dates shared by coaching pages are predictions.
What NBEMS displayed after NEET PG 2025
The 2025 process provides useful context but does not guarantee identical 2026 dates. After NEET PG 2025, NBEMS announced that candidates would be shown the correct answer key and the responses they had marked.
Because question order and option order were shuffled for different candidates, the information was displayed using the sequence of a master question-paper set. Candidates had to match question IDs carefully rather than expect the same on-screen order remembered from test day.
The 2026 notice will determine whether that process continues unchanged.
Where the official link should appear
Candidates should use the NBEMS website and NEET PG applicant portal. A safe checking sequence is:
- open the official NBEMS website manually;
- visit the examinations or notice-board section;
- locate the notice specifically titled for NEET PG 2026 answer keys or responses;
- read the PDF notice before opening the login link;
- confirm that the web address belongs to NBEMS; and
- sign in using the application credentials requested on the official page.
Do not enter a password or OTP into a page reached through an unsolicited message.
What candidates may see in the login
Depending on the official 2026 arrangement, the dashboard may show:
- a master question ID;
- the correct answer ID;
- the response recorded for the candidate;
- attempted or unattempted status; and
- instructions or a link for submitting objections.
Candidates should download the available record and keep a copy. Screenshots can miss rows or context, so a complete PDF is preferable when the portal offers one.
How to calculate an estimated score
NEET PG 2026 awards four marks for a correct response and deducts one mark for an incorrect response. Unanswered questions carry zero.
Use:
Estimated score = (correct responses × 4) − incorrect responses
Do not count a response from memory if the official record shows something different. The system-recorded response is the relevant entry unless NBEMS accepts and corrects a demonstrated technical issue.

Official key versus memory-based answer key
A memory-based key is reconstructed from questions recalled by candidates after leaving the centre. It can be useful for identifying broad topics, but it has important limitations:
- wording may be incomplete;
- a laboratory value or image detail may be omitted;
- options may be remembered in the wrong order;
- different candidates may combine two questions; and
- the coaching explanation may itself be disputed.
An unofficial key should therefore be labelled clearly. Publishing it as the “NBEMS answer key” before an official release would be inaccurate.
Can candidates challenge the answer key?
Candidates must wait for the 2026 notice. If NBEMS opens an objection window, the notice should state the deadline, fee, accepted grounds and evidence format.
A strong objection normally identifies the exact question or answer ID, explains the technical problem concisely and cites a recognised medical source. General statements such as “many students disagree” are unlikely to be sufficient.
Do not assume that an objection automatically changes the key. Subject-matter experts review representations according to the published process, and NBEMS issues the final decision.
What about the Jaipur re-examination?
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed that 2,445 candidates affected by a technical disruption at two Sitapura centres in Jaipur will take a re-examination on September 5, 2026 at 3 pm.
Candidates should not speculate about whether response sheets or the answer key will be released before or after that examination. NBEMS must communicate the schedule and method officially.
Affected candidates should focus on the revised admit-card and venue instructions sent through official channels.
Beware of fake answer-key links
High search demand after an entrance examination attracts phishing pages. Warning signs include:
- a domain that imitates but is not the NBEMS website;
- demands for payment before viewing a supposedly official PDF;
- requests for an OTP over phone or messaging apps;
- files labelled “leaked paper”; and
- guaranteed rank or admission claims.
NBEMS has previously warned candidates to verify notices from its official website and avoid spoofed emails, messages and social-media content.
What to do while waiting
Keep the application number and password secure, save the admit card, and write down only questions remembered confidently. Avoid making counselling decisions based on one unofficial score.
