Team Spirit won BLAST Open Porto 2026 after beating MOUZ 3-1 in the grand final on September 6. Spirit closed the event with two dominant map wins and converted its unbeaten group-stage run into the title.
BLAST Open Porto final result
- Champion: Team Spirit
- Runner-up: MOUZ
- Grand-final score: Spirit 3-1 MOUZ
- Date: September 6, 2026
- Venue: Super Bock Arena, Porto, Portugal
The best-of-five final rewarded the deeper map pool. MOUZ remained competitive early, but Spirit took control as the series progressed and completed a tournament in which it had already secured a direct semifinal place by winning Group A.
Playoff results
Spirit defeated Team Falcons 2-0 in the semifinal. MOUZ reached the final with a 2-0 semifinal victory over Vitality.
Falcons and Vitality had advanced through the quarterfinals, where six teams entered the single-elimination arena stage after the Copenhagen group phase.
Why Spirit's win mattered
Spirit arrived in the playoffs without dropping a group-stage series. The semifinal bye gave the roster more preparation time, but it still had to handle the pressure of a live arena and opponents carrying momentum from the quarterfinals.
Danil “donk” Kryshkovets remained the headline attraction, yet the title was also a product of team structure, reliable trading and a map pool strong enough to survive a long final. Spirit's late-series control prevented MOUZ from turning the matchup into a deciding fifth map.
Tournament format and prize pool
The event began with two double-elimination groups of eight. The top team from each group advanced directly to the semifinals, while the second- and third-placed teams entered the quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals and semifinals were best-of-three; the grand final was best-of-five. BLAST listed a combined $1.1 million player and club pool, with the result affecting both player prize money and club-share payments.
The Porto final completes the event, so older schedule searches should now be read as results rather than an upcoming fixture list.
